About Scrum Canada
Scrum Canada is a website dedicated to the sport of rugby. We are an independent resource for all players, coaches, referees and fans, with the goal of providing insightful news, information and commentary on issues that directly affects the sport and those involved.
A special thank-you to Scott Wise, our brilliant web designer/developer. Scott is an award-winning graphic designer based in Toronto, Ontario (and the best brother-in-law anyone could ask for). To see more of his work, visit www.scottwise.ca.
Steve Darley writes the "International Perspectives" column for Scrum Canada. He has had a life-long connection to rugby starting out with life as a minis player in the Netherlands. He then went on to play at Stonyhurst College in England and then with Windsor Rugby Club, Panaga RFC in Brunei and various social teams in Hong Kong. In Canada, Steve played for the Toronto Nomads before finally moving to the comfort of the touchline where he now focuses on coaching. He is also a regular contributor on the radio with the Fan590 and is a commentator on Rogers TV as well as test match commentator for online audiences.
April Scott-Clarke writes "The Rugby Life" column for Scrum Canada. She has been playing club rugby since 2002 and has dabbled in coaching at the high school and junior rugby level. While she isn't a national or even provincial player, she's a fitness kickboxing and bootcamp instructor so she knows a few things about stating fit.
